What is Personal Information?

What Personal Information Do We Collect From You And How?

Grace & Fire collects personal information in several ways when you place an order or register for a service offered by Grace & Fire. By registering, you are consenting to the collection of your personal information. If an order is placed with us, we collect your personal information including your name, email address, phone numbers, addresses and shipping details. Additionally, we may also obtain information as a result of authentication or identity checks. These details allow us to process your order and to let you know the status of your order.

If you elect to pay online using your credit card, your credit card details are not stored by us. They are encrypted and passed directly to the bank through our security provider. Any other information you provide at the checkout, such as comments or survey responses is stored by us and is used to better plan future items to add and developments for the website. Saved card details will never be shared with third parties and will only be used to process your order, using our payment partner’s systems.

General site traffic data is collected for the purpose of site maintenance and improvement and provides information about which and how often certain pages are viewed. This helps us to understand what sorts of products our customers are interested in and alerts us to any areas of the site that may be difficult to navigate. Will We Send You Direct Marketing?

Where we intend to use your personal information in direct marketing, we will not so use your personal information unless we have received your consent (which includes an indication of no objection). How You Can Access And If Necessary, Change The Personal Information Grace & Fire Maintains

If for any reason you are concerned that the personal information held by Grace & Fire is not correct, please visit the website and, after logging into the site using the “Sign In” menu on the home page, your personal information will be made available for review and change in the “My Account” section.

Only you or, upon your request, the Customer Service department, may access your personal information from the website using your password and User ID. Your personal information may be changed online within My Details, Shipping Details, and My Email Preferences. You can change or delete saved credit/debit card details each time you make a purchase. You will also be able to delete saved credit/debit card details by adding or editing a shipping/billing address. If you change your billing or shipping address while your order is still being processed, the order will be re-processed through security validation checks. We also have procedures in place for dealing with and responding to requests for access to, and correction of, the personal information held about you. In most cases, we expect that we will be able to comply with your request. However, if we do not agree to provide you access or to correct the information as requested, we will give you written reasons for our decision.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to websites maintained by other companies or organisations to which we link and Grace & Fire is not responsible for any personal information you submit to third parties via our website.

Under 16’s

If you are under 16, we require that you inform a parent or guardian about Grace & Fire’s Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions as well as requiring their consent to the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions before registering or placing an order with Grace & Fire.

Data Breaches

If we suspect that a data breach has occurred, we will undertake an assessment into the circumstances of the suspected breach as required by law.. Where it is ascertained that a breach has actually occurred and where required by law, we will notify the Privacy Commissioner and affected individuals as soon as practicable after becoming aware that a data breach has occurred.

We have procedures in place for dealing with your complaints and concerns about our practices in relation to the Privacy Act, and any alleged breach of this Policy. We will respond to your complaint in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Privacy Act.
